You will no longer listen to the mellow voiced Angela Angwenyi on Nation FM. After 10 years of a successful career on radio, the fearless State of the Nation host has finally called it a day behind the mic.
Angela who has been at Nation Media for 5years dedicated the 4 hours of her last day on air to memorable moments she had in the industry.
She replayed her interesting interviews ever on air, the latest exchange between Robert Alai and Babu Owino in which the SONU president called Alai ‘murderer.’
Angela Angwenyi, formerly in International Relations used the time to call some of the people who have influenced her career including Caroline Mutoko.
Her former State Of The Nation co-host Lorna Irungu Macharia, who was replaced by Herbert Mwachiro and colleague Antoneosoul, too called in to send their best wishes.
Angela, who has a degree in political science, has had massive following during the morning show that focused on politics and leadership.
There is no doubt that State of the Nation has been a threat to some of the top morning radio shows like Maina and King’ang’i in the morning on Classic 105, Maisha Asubuhi Na AlexNaJalas on Radio Maisha, Capital in The Morning, and Jambo Kenya of Radio Citizen among others.
Jimmy Gathu and Mumbi take over from Monday even though the mother of one son and who was at Radio Africa before taking NMG by storm, did not reveal her next move.
All the best Angela Angwenyi, You indeed brought #SenseOnAir.
